The integrity of the player base has fallen drastically.

Much like class stacking, this sort of thing is typical of a PUG in just about any game. If you want a group that isn't going to be super picky about your gear, you will probably either want to run with friends/lsmates or make your own group.

primals are all about placement thats it, equip dont mean crap, 8 gimped people can beat anything in this game equipment only gives you a small gain in this game. if people dont know what there doing you'll fail regardless. most people use there AF in everything. and most equip from the raids/boss fights are pure luck.

Actually I have a lot of fun in PUGs its a way to meet different players outside your LS, but I have noticed a lot of elitists on my server as of late. I am in a LS I like very much now. as I have been booted from a few for not being 'hardcore' enough. I play to have fun this is not my job. Way too many people are treating it as such. Hell a lot of people bail if there is a loss in a fight, screwing over everyone else. typical excuse is they don't want to waste money repairing gear... well I didn't know grade 5 dark matter was so expensive. Heck if you've done any primals you should have more than enough for this games life span

This mentality is why people don't trust NA pickups, equips makes differences. Only few jobs can afford going full AF like WHM and BRD. BLM is not one of them, people that fulltimes BLM AF are either lazy or have zero knowledge about the class.

NA partys do hell of alot better than slow ass JP partys. people who NEED the best possible equip to do things you can do gimped really dont know what there doing.

I'm anything but an elitist player, and almost every time I've dealt with a JP player, they were nothing less than professional about their conduct in game.

In any case, adding numbers to your stats can only help your chances, whether or not you know your stuff.

^ Biased answer, especially considering I've only seen JP players actually attempt to do shit in a non-burn/stack setup and actually succeed, versus NA players who go full-retard when you so much as mention doing something other than stacking ARC(BRD) or THM(BLM) on things.

then make the AFs meldable, black mage AF looks cool and while my single meld outfits may be better people can dress how they want(I wear BLM AF with Reindeer antlers because thats the look I like.) also have different sets of job only gear(which I would think is to come)

B: Easy mode strats are crippling the game, if the issue with the shunned classes is stats or skills or over all usefulness how do you expect SE to fix them if you the player doesnt touch them? Data needs to be collected in order for work to get done and results to appear. Its kinda common sense does your boss pay you if he cant see your work?

C: SE finally merged the Market Wards and made them available from any city via the mercantile houses yet everyone is still using Ul'dah and causing serious undercuts? Dont get me wrong I understand economics but good hard working crafter shouldnt have to suffer because the majority of the player base doesnt want to check other markets? I think its high time we did something about that ridiculous behavior.

D: Power Leveling should just quit at all together, 100K and hour to go farm cadavers because of humanoid multiplier XP? Any moron can get to 50 at that point you either know your class or you dont. So how do you expect to obtain a victory in any instance or any primal if you got power leveled to 50 and you think your good? Sorry it doesnt work that way the point of going from 1-50 and working for it is to learn and master as you climb to the top. Skill "Do you have it"?

E: People have been telling me a lot if I dont level every class I wont accomplish much in this game? Well that ladies and gentlemen is a load of nonsense, If I for example want to only play a White Mage then what does it matter if I dont have Warrior or Black Mage leveled? I will play what I enjoy as should everyone.

Well thats all I really have to say you either agree or you dont, I could honestly care less, this community has done nothing but whine and cry to the devs wanting things to be easier going towards end game, but last I checked and end game boss wasnt designed to just fall, it is designed to be something you work for and earn.

I guess that is why you still don't have speedrun achievements on new raids or kill garuda. Godamn they must do a hell lot better.

many people have suggested fashion slot for sure, i'm also up for it. But, wearing them just because you want to look nice isn't what people look for at pick up parties, they do not know about you and the only thing they can judge is your gear.

If you gear poorly, people will assume you play poorly or doesn't care. That is not the attitude people looking for at pickups. THis is also why there are very little pickup parties in NA community compare to JP community where they have at least 10 recruits going on at their prime.
