I hate everything about this (extremely accurate) joke. Curse you for putting that in my brain.

Even on servers where my ping is high, I don't have snapshot problems. Maybe it's just that I'm used to the game after playing it for years? If I move out of something before the cast completes, I'm always fine.
Never had a problem with snapshots either, can't relate to any weirdness in raids. It was bad in ARR especially noticable in Titan but since we got EU servers it's been smooth sailing.
Then again I've been using exitlag für years now that might be a major reason to get rid of that wonkyness caused by routing.
The pizza during FoA have a bit sneaky animations that I think might trick people, the fires still keep going even when it's safe to move and the damage seems to go off very slightly before the red aoe on the floor goes away.
On Pinax in P4S it's a bit sneaky too and got me the first time, the sound effect happens and the panel looks like it has been triggered but it's more like it's '' activating '' and getting ready to go off.
First couple of times I had to kinda re-wire my head a little for it because I kept thinking they had gone off already when I heard the sound and saw them intensifying.
I haven't had snapshot issues myself but once when I had latency problems, Gloryplume would catch me every time. Everything else was fine, but for Glory I'd be standing in a perfectly safe spot and take invisible damage. No issues once my latency was better.
The snapshotting is quite tight and like most fights the animations can't be relied on, so any sort of lag or latency can mess things up.
The snapshots on spreads are 1-1.5 seconds before they hit. I've stacked for greed but it registered my old position.
