Increase Membership limits per Cross World Linkshell

This^. Discord is a nice, large alternative, but linkshell messages will always be noticed faster (especially for playstation players, which make up a significant amount of playerbase).

Definitely an increased limit would be a welcome thing. The fewer members a linkshell can hold, the greater the number of linkshells that need to be created to reach the community. That ends up adding to chat spam as more messages need to be created.

YoshiP mentioned around the time that cross world linkshells were added that they had tried to increase same world linkshell limits from 128 to 256 but it caused their internal testing servers to crash. Maybe it's a problem that they're still trying to solve, or something that will be dependent on their future infrastructure upgrades.

But if same world can handle 128, you would think that cross world should be able to handle the same limit.

And eventually, the newer linkshells that have to be made are isolated from older ones, which creates a communication gap.

Another week, another bump. My CWL chat spam from relays is not getting any better!

Liveletter was this past weekend and still no word about possible LS size increases, so another bump for the thread it is.

Servers will explode.

bump! i agree with the increased CWLS capacities and more slots please. all my local linkshells are just hunt linkshells specific to my server. all my friends and the communities im part of use CWLS when chatting even with people from the same server.

I would prefer it if they focused their efforts on increasing cross world linkshell capacity to at least 256, simply because they have more uses than regular linkshells.
