Limit Cuts hit different.
It's only stupid if the people are stupid imo.
Which sadly the chances are quite high with 8 random people.
But I think it makes for a lot of fun mechanics, there's a lot of cooperation in Second Circle - Savage for example and it's fun when it works and everyone knows what to do and have a functioning brain.
It makes you feel like a team and I think that if everyone needs to pull their weight it makes it more rewarding and people can't get carried as easily which I don't think you should be able to be tbh.
Not in harder endgame content I think you should have to perform or not clear at all.
The problem is that a lot of people don't know what to do and/ or have an IQ of five.
For some reason it takes some people ten+ hours to understand to stay at the back of the platform the boss is on when the mechanic starts with a 2 and 4 blue mark and to run to the already placed numerical waymarks with red 1-4.
For some reason this is completely impossible for 85+% of people to understand.
Once it works it feels great imo and if you're playing with people who have a functioning brain.
If you don't it can be infuriating tho.
They should all be listed as follows:
“Alphascape V4 wiping party. No learning, no calling loot, no loot at all. Don’t bother watching a video.”
Eeeeh, what? You literally get numbers over your heads indicating the dash order, color-coded to the boss buff icons - a conventional indicator for dashes in this game - and a vulnerability debuff after you get hit, indicating you shouldn't get hit twice. I'd say it's extremelly well hinted.
It's also not in fact that specific, given I recall there being at least 2 separate strats to do it.
"One person messes up and you wipe" mechanics are present in pretty much every 4th floor for any tier, it's nothing out of the ordinary. You might dislike it, but well, savage isn't for everyone, nobody forces you to run it.
Just because unsync is there to make old content easier, doesn't mean it's a guarantee that you can get anything in the game effortlessly if you just wait. It's already very casual-friendly that you can unsync at all, rather than having to do everything "properly" - like with Ultimates - to avoid devaluing efforts of those who cleared content when it was current.
