I’m personally rather disturbed by the mannequin feet/hand, too.

More than not I’d just glam those pieces that conceals my WoL’s toes & fingers… but that’d mean locking out quite a bunch of glam options.

Would be nice if they could update the models.

Memes aside, I agree with OP. It makes wearing anything open-toed look really off.

Fun little factoid. Character models don't actually have toes. They're simply a foot "paddle" with black lines drawn across to give the vague appearance of toes. It's partly why they look so terrible.

I didn't know Quentin Tarantino played FFXIV.

I don't mind the sandals. It's to keep foot shape for heeled boots. Other games that don't have it all have flat foot boots and quite frankly, they all look dumb to me.

Npcs are different, they don't need a special foot shape to skin for boots.

Now the toes take offense to. Paddle feet with toe markings is fine. Toe markings vanishing when you put open toe boots on is not.

I care not for modeled toes, personally.
