Official chat bubble support- Will it become a thing eventually? It helps me so much

PLEASE! I saw a streamer use some sort of plug-in to make people's messages appear over their heads and it just looked SO COOL!

I hope they go back on what they said and give us this as an option.

Some of the best chat bubble option I have seen were "Friends/Guild only". This meant that even in a busy city, where the chat log was flooding anyway, I could ALWAYS see the important texts.

I feel it'd be great for instances too as players could call out warnings or such and you'd see it faster than having to look at the chat box

When I first joined I had severe tunnel vision so majoritively I’d ignore the chat box. I’d never see when anyone messaged me in FC, I’d miss messages from party members in dungeons, it feels sooo messy at first.

In other MMO’s I think chat bubbles worked perfectly. Most notably, Gaia online was a great game and the chat bubbles worked in a way where if the place was busy, the chat bubbles wouldn’t overlap but would move to the side of other peoples bubbles.

Most people on XIV barely speak in ‘say’ anyway so what’s all this ‘in a busy area’ situation? People mainly talk in party or whisper so it won’t be that disasterous.
