Why does Sage punish you for using your healing spells?

You don't even need Kardion to heal, as it's healing is just a fraction of what a Sage heals. Is as if a WHM couldn't heal if they didn't have Regen or a SCH if the fairy stopped to use Embrace.

That's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is the design of Sage is fundamentally flawed and its power budget is locked behind Kardion for no reason and I just want to know why.

I don’t think the job is the issue here.

As someone whose leveled it to max - I had 0 issues with healing even semi-decent tanks.

The skill level may just be too high for you or you’re not properly grasping it’s kit - which is fine - I’m awful at some jobs as well. I’d follow the early recommendations and stick with WHM.

It’s not flawed at all. Seems to work just fine for other Sages. If the job isn’t for you, that’s fine. But Kardia doesn’t need changing.

Kardia is not your main source of healing. That is your Addersgall stacks; you get 1 every 20 seconds—which is faster than the generation of WHM lilies.

Why would Eukrasian Prognosis grant a regen when Kerachole is on a 30 second cooldown and get one via trait at level 78? It doesn’t need a regen.

Eukrasian Prognosis should not be spammed like Medica II, and this is an fundamental error I notice a lot of novice Sages doing.

Its not flawed, Kardion is for Sages what Fairies are for SCH, Regen for WHM and Aspected Benefic is for AST.

Its literally just there to off heal the Tank while you are dps on a Boss.

For Trash pulls, if you rely on Kardion to heal the Tank, you should reconsider playing this class.

Your main source for healing during trash pulls is Eukrasian Diagnosis with Druochloe and depending on the Tank, a HoT

Meh, nevermind. I think this is another troll thread, based on things I see on a certain site people love to hate.

People should find something better to do than troll the OF. Seriously.

Because it's a barrier healer.
It's heals aren't that great.
For me I just spam the shield, DPS a bit and keep shielding so I can get Toxic stacks. Then usually just shield the party and use Pepsis at times if I want to. I rarely ever use the basic Diaog or Prog.
I play a bit differently though and I am a shield spammer, I just have Lucid on every time it's off cool down so I'm never out of MP lol.

SCH on the other hand has better burst heals so it makes up where SGE falls at least. SGE has a rough time picking everyone up when they're low.

0 damage healers were always a bad sign, but fear the 0 damage sage

I haven't finished leveled it and i don't like it. But why i don't like it is solely because of its sounds, which i just turn down combat effects to fix. I did Dohn Mheg today, wall to wall pulls with the base left side gear. I only had trouble because my 2 melee dps kept standing in aoes during trash pulls. The title perfect legend apparently doesn't mean they can dodge aoes or out dps a healer on bosses.

Also low level dungeons like sastasha can be healed with just kardion just like sch with fairy healing.

If OP is being serious, and I hope not given their comments about dps, it is possible they're doing the classic sch mistake on sage - playing a barrier healer as if it's a whm.
