So...when are hyurs going to be able to look like this? (SPOILERS)

If you want to look like one of the Ancients, roll a Viera or Elezen.

I was thinking the same thing this entire expansion. NPC's have such detailed and unique faces. None of the original races have been updated since 2013 game launch, we need some updated texture/character customization options.

Also give us some of the NPC hairstyles like Hilda, Lyse, Yuguri, etc.

You're not wrong, but I was making more of a generalization and comparison since hyurs would be the closest counterpart to the ancients appearance-wise if you get my drift.

I just wish I could have a nice long beard.

I think my character looks fine. What Hyurs really need are some animation changes for running, both male and female midlanders, I guess male highlanders as well. They look too stiff as of right now. Also, most of the important Ancients look more like Viera to me while the minor NPCs look more like Elezen, I guess in general they are more of a mix between Viera, Elezen and Hyur.

Pretty sure all these are just viera without ears except lyse and meteion lol

Hyurs definitely need some new, quality, face options, or at least an update to customization options. Midlander (female) should also get a new (potentially additional) animation set, but I'm doubtful that would happen.
