Please nerf bicolor gemstone requirements.

Don't judge the value of a reward by what others do. Judge the value by what you do to earn it.

I slow farmed the pterandon over 18 months but know that there were others who botted their way to it within 2 months of release. It doesn't take any value away from it for me because I know what I did to earn it. If others want to assume I also botted to get it, that's their problem. I didn't put the work in to try to impress them. I did the work because it was a goal I wanted to achieve for myself.

I think it’s fine that they cost so much, the issue I have is that the vouchers aren’t available until level 3 in all zones. I’m almost maxed out just after unlocking level 2 for all zones so if I were to continue I’d be overcapped with nothing of real worth to spend gemstones on. It would be nice to make the vouchers available earlier, or at least give us something else to spend gems on.

The sad reality of things is that if can be bought with gil, lazy people will resort to RMT to obtain it, and likewise, if a grind exists, someone probably has already created a bot for it as well.

It's entirely on SE to fix those two problems but their track record lamentably isn't very good.

Buy crafting materials to sell and buy some of the vouchers you'll need (or other items you want) with the gil earned. That will reduce the amount of farming you'll need to do yourself once you do max out Shared FATE ranks.

I slowly leveled the six Zones. Helped while leveling ALT jobs as well. I think I got a couple levels out of each zone. (With 250k per Fate = 15m XP)
I also wish we could purchase the vouchers ahead of time (Not unlock all six zones first). I found myself wasting capped gemstones on stuff I didn't really need (nor sold for much).
PLUS side... these vouchers sell for like 100k on my server each. Selling 'em now.

Need more things to buy with the vouchers. Some of us run fates all the time!

You can buy the gemstones if you wish.

Personally, I always felt that the whole point of the high gemstone requirement was to provide a financial incentive to grinding fates. It is an alternative to other methods of leveling and puts gil in the player's pocket.

If I want the wivre mount, I'm well aware that the most reasonable way to get it is by buying the vouchers off the MB from other players.

That’s all well and good but when you’re creating a photo studio with 7 alts in FC each having a different room with different theme getting them all through the whole msq and then grinding the required fates on top of it is incredibly difficult. SHB had the best solution of allowing players to buy gemstone items so ppl who don’t want to farm can buy them and people who love FATES can make Gil from farming. I seriously don’t see an issue with the old system. Why gate keep music from zones specifically

I don't see issues with either the old system or the new system. Both systems can be rewarding to players who like to FATE grind.

But this is the approach that SE chose for Endwalker. Why? Probably because of the number of players that constantly complain that the open world is empty and there is nothing to do there. This system gives them something to do if they want the rewards. Perhaps they'll choose different for 7.0. Perhaps they'll make the EW rolls tradeable then.

Being an altoholic myself, I'm fine with the current system. If I want a specific reward on one of my alts, then I use the alt to earn it. I've already done that on 2 of my alts when it comes to some of the EW Shared FATE rewards (though this character is the only one with all Shared FATE ranks completed). If I don't have the time to level the alt, then I don't need it in the first place.

I understand you have your alts for a different reason than I have mine. Considering you're talking about making rooms for the purpose of different visual appeals for a photo studio, I don't see a problem. It's the look that's important. No one is going to hear the sound in a screenshot and there are hundreds of other Orchestrion rolls to choose from as background music.

If anything it demonstrates one of the flaws in the housing system. You should have easy access to the plot size of your choice, which would have allowed you to set up the multiple environments for your studio without having to resort to using alts to get more room for each environment.

I agree it should be reduced.
When it was added they knew people would farm for it. Meaning there was other people farming it as well. so, fates were done faster and safer.
As it gets less popular is should also reduce how many you need to get so that was it's more accessible to other players since they're not adding anything else to it.
I understand that something are ment to be a grind but that doesn't mean it should always be a grind or at least be touch to reduce the grind.

Things in achievements should be untouched, FYI.
