Beach Area (Can I Have it?)

I agree! I want a beach zone!

Also, give us a zones like:
Giza Plains: The dry/wet variations on this zone were SO FREAKING AWESOME! I want a zone to be dictated by the climate!

They should have Sahagin attack via the beaches for a hamlet that would be cool.

Crafters could build cannons and fire them from the cliffs ..

I'd actually love to see a zone like Bibiki Bay - Purgonorgo Isle. A nice tropical island to fool around with friends. I had lots of fun with my ffxi linkshell back in the days. The trip there was also the most relaxing and enjoyably experience. Watching the dolphins jump out of the water and enjoy the scenery. Heck I even liked that there was not much to do there. It made it so that the island was only used for random linkshell fun. (And the occasional CoP cutscene lol)

I don't fully grasp the concept of "beaches", could you post some more pictures and screenshots?

EDIT: Yeah, the beach areas in game are OK. But you rarely have to go there for anything.

If you check out the 2.0 PDFs on lodestone there's a couple of maps that have beaches on them I think...I think Rein or something also translated some of the labels for said maps too.

I never said I hate nice scenery, matt of fact I love it. I would love to see more of it too. Most importantly I would love to see FUNCTIONAL nice scenery, as in, scenery that is nice but that also has a purpose other than being pretty... It's not hard to understand. The sad part about this game is, defacto Powerleveling, SE has rendered 90% of their game useless. All of those maps they built, all of the mobs they made, pretty much anything pre lvl 50 has been made useless by PLing. It's just damn sad. My twin brother, for one, has no interest in this game because of PLing - and he had 75 rdm in FFXI before they raised the cap.

EDIT: ONE MORE THING: if you look at the FFXIV forum header at the top of this page, you see a background landscape consisting of a waterfall the size of niagra falls, WHERE EXACTLY CAN I FIND THIS IN GAME? False advertising much?
