My tinfoil theory is that Blizzard or some other gaming company preemptively bought server space to sabotage SE when Endwalker was announced. Maybe Amazon thought it would give New World a fighting chance lol. Maybe Google wanted to force XIV to switch to Stadia. Somebody get Aaron Sorkin to write a drama, it will win all the Oscars.

For me at least it was a few minutes, just found it funny.
I guess Yoshi-P was after that ice-cream I have in my house. Guess he changed his mind when he noticed how long it had been standing there without melting, something strange with that ice-cream.

I feel you OP. The queues and the random unfixed errors I can stand. But now we are not even able to enjoy the entirety of the game we paid for????

I had that happen the other day took 10 trys or so to get in. Has to do with too many instances open on your server i believe. Keep pressing enter eventually you get in.
