Obnoxious FC Chest locations.

There is one in Rhalgr's Reach as well, it's over near the scrip people. Kind of behind them near the hill that leads to the Fringes. Somewhat out of the way, but it's there, not too far from a retainer bell.

Edit: Also, if the 1200 cost for teleporting to the chest is a bit much, if you have excess hunt seals you can get aetherite tickets to offset the cost. Not to mention doing a roulette or two a day will keep you in positive gil gain. Do your Doman Enclave stuff and you get 40k a week just from handing in trash items(Allagan Silver pieces give 1k each once it's maxed out, so only need 40 of them a week...which is easy if you send retainers on 18hr ventures if you won't be on for that long), as well as challenge log, and basically any content. You shouldn't be going negative unless all you do is sit there and stare at the market board without being actively trying to gain gil

You can put a fc chest in an apartment. You don't need a house. I'm not saying 500k is cheap but apartments are easily available on every server. The only thing stopping you is your own gil.

EDIT: teleportation to residences is still quite cheap from the EW zones. Far cheaper than teleporting to the cities near those residences.

So you want an easy solution then?
1200 gil is not that much, unless you love to stay by your chest and TP like 50 times or so, our FC is so cheap we agreed to keep the TP buff on most of the time, reducing the fee by a bit. You can set destinations as favorite, also reducing the fee. Register your companion app and get one more favorite slot.

I highly recommed you start working on your squad. Have them train for "free" every hour until they reach level 50.You will also get emotes from doing this. And a team of NPC to take your dps jobs to level without queue, altough slightly slower.

This is probably the best solution so far, but it seems like a lot of loading screens. This is currently what I do, but I still find it's a pain in the booty. I think this solution is unnecessarily cumbersome, requiring the players to occupy their favored teleportations only to access an FC chest rather than to access out-of-the-way content that's playable at a large range of levels.(PotD/Hoh, Firmament, Etc.)

This reply seems to be contradicting itself and doesn't take any of the specifics I've mentioned in my post into account. You don't seem to understand that I'm simply asking that an FC chest be added in each major city including Ishgard, Cystarium, and Sharlayan (as someone earlier mentioned there is one in Kugane) for ease of access to people who Don't have houses. Because I find it difficult only to access FC Chests in Ul'Dah, Gridania, Limsa, and Kugane.

1. A previous post made this suggestion and this is the current solution I have already implemented. This requires a lot of loading screens and that takes a lot of unnecessary time. I really think the optimal solution here is adding more FC Chests in all the large major cities as it makes sense to do so.

3. I've already established parameters that my FC doesn't have a house, and I'm trying to make the FC chest more accessible for the large player base that doesn't have access to the housing market. Please be respectful and conscientious when leaving replies. It's really rude to just throw things in, and ignore the actual attention I'm trying to give this issue.

4. I've already mentioned that the 2k seals from the GC require a rank of First Lieutenant with the GC which subsequently requires the player have an adventurer squadron that is rank 3 which is takes a lot of time to unlock and again, isn't Acessible.

Sure I can do all that, and it's a valid solution. It just still doesn't really answer the question as to why FC Chests are so difficult to access. Why do you have to have a house, or get your adventurer squadron up to rank 3, and do all these things? It's just a Guild Bank. You should be able to access your guild's bank in any major city bare minimum. I've played other MMO's and this is the only one that unusually makes Guild Banks so difficult to access.

You don't have to get your squadron up to rank 3, or do anything out of the ordinary to access your chest. Not even owning a house.

You are asking for solutions to your problem of the teleport fee. You got them, but now were rude for not giving a satisfactory answer. Use your return spell on a major city with a chest, and save Old Sharlayan as your favorite destination to get a discount when going back.

There's no chest in the Crystarium for obvious plot reasons. Ishgard is the same.

There is a ferry for 300Gil to Sharlayan from limsa. Teleport to the arcanist guild and it's right there past the ferry counter on the right as you exit.
There is a free teleport to Thavnair from Sharlayan in the house west of the main Aetheryte, talk to the lady who sent you on the experimental teleport in the beginning.
There is a free teleport to the final zone from Labyrinthos, if you don't wish to fly all the way there it's 70 gil to teleport to the nearest Aetheryte from the labyrinthos destination when taken from Sharlayan


You can reduce your teleportation prices if you wish, you just have to plan routes and be willing to spend a few more seconds flying.

That really does help reduce the cost without having all my teleports revolve around banking. I still think that having to take a boat to another city and go back and forth between the loading screens is unnecessarily complicated and that it could be streamlined with a QoL change where u just have FC chests in all major cities. A change like this wouldn't have like deep implications either. It wouldn't profoundly change the markets and stuff. Just makes things streamline and acessible. Any city that has a marektboard and a summoning bell, definitely should have an FC Chest.

In order to purchase the GC aetheryte tickets, yes you do. In order the buy the 2k aetheryte tickets to your GC HQ. You must be the rank of First Lieutenant, and first lieutenant requires a rank 3 squadron.
