The shape for the colors is also different if you happen to be color blind. The shape is on the ground too, so you can pick opposite. Blue is triangle, red is circle. If you have a red circle on screen then stand in the blue lanes with triangles on them, blue triangle on screen stand in the red circle lanes.

It is always, always the second, "random" meteor hit after the late-fight lane movement. Always. That is literally the barrier between me and the rest of endwalker and, in my panicked state right now... my interest in the game.

Because of this thread I have the lanes solved. So thank you. It's the meteor hit. That's the barrier.

if you're having this much problems I'd suggest watch a youtube video of the fight. (there are as had to look it up to know which fight you were talking about)
perhaps watching a clear run will help you understand the mechanics.

and personally I find it easier to understand by watching than by just reading.
the visual aid helps.

I just wasn't sure if they got that you want to make sure your shapes are different lol. So people are not matching triangles to triangles XD. (Assuming someone is color blind to r/b then color opposites might be like "yeh sure oki" lol).

Im even more confused now. The squares to me look either pink or blue. And there are white squares within the symbols. I dont understand the correlation. Sorry OP, not meaning to hijack your thread, or your specific problems with this same boss.

The stripped down guide to that mechanic: Stand on the ground that is opposite of whatever is on your screen. Whatever is on your screen, don't stand in stuff that matches it. You'll be fine. ;)

That doesn't answer the meteor hit. I have to go to work soon and this will be the second day I do so without getting past this one boss. Now it's one mechanic of one boss. I'm so demoralized and it's threatening my hold on interest for the game. I'm not as bad as this mechanic makes me look and I'm just so lost.
