Raids tough?

I know but I just got kicked from titan extreme and I decided I rather wait till I’m 80 to do extreme trails and coils of bahamut but after work I’m going to do crystal tower raid quest, beast tribe, artifact weapon, and msq. And when I 60 before I go to heavens ward I might pick up dancer and gunbreaker. But I’m more excited about dark knight.

Most the raids I have done in roulette have been hard with all the new players not following the mechanics to them.

Alliance raids bring a very limited challenge. Especially the Crystal Tower is nothing to worry about.

The Coils and older extremes, to compare them to WoW as you played it, are between normal and heroic in difficulty. It's pug content, but it requires some execution. Not exactly difficult, though. This is when synced, of course. Unsynced at level 80 you'll breeze through, though you still occasionally have to do a mechanic correctly as some will 1-shot regardless of your health.

Potencies are a lot higher than they used to be and people are overgeared out their ass.
If you want hard content you basically have to go out of your way to set min-ilvl no echo and play with people who haven't done it before.

The normal and hard modes can just be thought of as '' story mode '' and even some extremes I'd argue.
I honestly dunno why hard mode even still exists it's misleading.

Really just because the first three trials are those early four-man ones and it's a bit of a downer to be told that's "Ifrit (Easy)", so those are "normal" and their level 50 versions are "hard". And then the other level 50 things are also "hard" to indicate that they're on the same level.

They stopped using it once they moved further into the game.

The more I read my own comments I started to believe wow made me scared of other mmo content. When I first started wow I wanted to play tank but people kept being mad at me for not understanding tank mechanics. And healer I definitely was to scared to even choosing it. Now I’m happy playing tank and I’m working on warrior but I’m excited to try dark knight and gunbreaker. I’m also excited to try machineist, dancer, dragoon, samurai, and reaper. I’m also nervous to try astrologian but I love stars and space so I thinking of trying it. Anyway thank you all for supporting us wow fokes. Finally Fantasy 14 is my new favorite game!

For sure don't be afraid of anything in FFXIV because of your WoW experience. I played WoW myself many years on and off and FFXIV does not have the same type of players at all in it. Or ok many of the same people played both but the ones that are now still in FFXIV largely are not the a**h***s from WoW. I too was afraid of tanking in FFXIV months ago when I started playing FFXIV but I quickly got over it when I actually tried. Yes some did get upset because I didn't pull wall to wall my first time ever in a dungeon. That never was my style anyway. FFXIV is different though. Usually you won't get any problems for doing a place at whatever pace you are comfortable with and if you are messing up, someone usually has something helpful to say or if not, at least they aren't a bunch of jerks.
