To the people saying this is not Yoshida's decision, he himself said that it is and he had to ask his superiors to permit him to delay the game.
As a full time retail worker, it's the opposite for me. 2 weeks is fine for a delay, but not 2 months, as I've already waited a long time for the expansion.
I've already scheduled days off for the original early access, but I used unpaid time off, so now I'm keeping those dates off and just requested more unpaid time off for the new early access dates while picking up extra shifts on my regular days off to bring my hours nearly up to a regular week. If my manager can't afford to approve the new dates, I'll just take a little longer to play, but it will still be better than a delay of 2 months.
I realize not everybody is as flexible as me, but it still doesn't justify a delay longer than needed for a global release of a game.
