Please consider allowing some first come first served wards in Empyreum on 6.1 launch

They have said that you will not be able to pull your lottery entry once you're entered.

I actually went back and rewatched the section on housing after the LL, before making my post, and they said that as of now they are planning to make it completely lottery based, but are 'looking at feedback'. They then mentioned that the live comments were overwhelmingly for the lottery system, so this was meant to be my own personal feedback to them against making the entire district a lottery. So I'm hoping even a bit that they'll consider even adding some FCFS wards instead of all 24 being lottery.

I wish it was hyperbole T_T 'Disappointed' feels inadequate an explanation of what I feel. Admittedly dramatic, but when you spend 6 years hoping for a feature, then it's actually given, but at the last minute they kinda just yank the rug out from under you, the feeling's a bit understandable. Ok maybe it is a tad bit hyperbolic. What does a hyperbolic spirit animal look like? Hmm...

Lottery camping fixes the standing there for hours hoping to get the lucky click but, it does nothing to address the issue of limited housing. I heard about the island sanctuaries and just holding out hope that that can be used as a form of housing for your character, and not a mog garden equivalent from FFXI where you just walk in, click an NPC (moogle there) and interact with a tree or whatever else. I'm taken to believe they've considered years worth of rampaging dumpster fire level forum threads that have compiled , and came to the conclusion there are issues with the current system in terms of house flipping and botting. This doesn't fix it all, but just glad to see it getting addressed in some serious way.

All in all, it's a step in a direction.. a step.. hopefully not the end point.

I think they're aiming for fair and I'm fine with that. Yes, I have a personal and FC home- smalls, and I'm grateful to have them. It'd be nice to see the people that are homeless get a fair shake at one too.

Would I like a medium? Sure, but no one is gonna see me stomping my feet if I can't get one. I'm not in a rush.
