So that probably isn't the issue, just seen a lot of people with this issue say that and no one has said I have no problems and have high packet loss there as well until now. So I guess it's probably a hardware issue but I have no idea what to replace. I mean I bought my nighthawk xr300 less than a year ago and it came out in 2019. So I think it would be fine. I mean at this point I am down to believe hardware issue too, and maybe ffxiv is more taxing than anything else I do. The reason why it's the only game/thing to disconnect. Also, it is just like everything is fine then I d/c immediately but then can immediately log back in so it is just a spike. So power supply issue? graphic card issue? Hmm, I tried drkdays suggestion of lowering the graphics. So maybe this will help. Like I said I will give it a week and see if not i guess i will start replacing everything to do with graphics and connection, except for my isp unfortunately only have one where I live.Quote:

VPN didn't help you so, I guess, make sure to check the firewall... if you have antivirus that's not windows' built in, make sure it doesn't also come with a firewall that might be interfering? If you're not getting an error message and it just crashes/goes black, then personally, I'd take that as a queue to check for driver issues, look at the windows event log, and so on.
But if it's 90k, I'd focus more on firewall/router/network etc. -

I don't have a VPN and I can stay connected for days, it's a question of connection stability, micro outages that go unnoticed in normal net usage don't bother, but the slightest outage with MMO servers or any online game and you're disconnected.
It's best to check with your internet provider, it has nothing to do with FFXIV.
I'm on Ps4 Pro with a good low latency and stable connection, I don't have any disconnection issues usually, the connection issues but it's very rare over the year. -

Though I'm not sure that's necessarily Malakii's issue, it's definitely possible for FF14 to struggle with a stable, low ping connection. -

Found alot of helpful guides on the internet apparently this is common for windows users. So i am going to go down these list and give them a try. If any works i will update. In case any of this helps anyone with their issue. My issue seems to be resolved by changing things inside my network adapaters.
Press “Window + R”, type in “devmgmt.msc” and press Enter on your keyboard to launch into the device management window.

Double click on the “Network adapters” dropdown and right-click on your network device.
Select the “Update driver” option and choose the “Search automatically for updated driver software” button.

After that, repeat from steps 1 to 3 but this time, select the “Properties” option instead of “Update driver” and go to the “Power Management” tab.

Save these changes and restart your computer.
Check to see if you have been able to fix the Final Fantasy XIV Error 90001 on your computer.
I had no issues for the last few days. -

not even surprised it was that. i used to have connection issues on vista that were all os related.
