How would you feel if Broil, Glare and Malefic were stances?

Can you imagine getting called out for never turning on your stance lmao?!

aren't we already semi-afk while spamming 1? i feel no engagement in either of these options ^^ also maybe yoshi will finally realize healers have no gameplay only after taking away all the buttons? we have to lose everything to reach the dream or something!

Isn’t that basically a DoT? So you want to remove healers 1 button rotation and make it no buttons except for 2 DoTs?

seriously though, 1.5s on all 4 healers is functionally already an auto attack; just admit it and make it true auto? would help with carpal tunnel at least, think of the injured ones!

It’s as I said: I’d rather spam the one button versus no buttons. Because the devs won’t give me more healing mechanics to deal with to make use of the other 90% of my kit. If I’m pressing 2 buttons every minute…then why am I even here?

well exactly! why are you even there if the only thing you do is spam one button? it's a "conscious" check and nothing else; just holds your focus and does nothing with it. wouldn't it be better to... let us go? maybe i'll chat meanwhile, or do something else - everything i can come up with will be more engaging and pleasant than the spam

I mean. Healers have been asking for more healing for years. The devs won’t give it to us. So we ask for more in-depth damage skills. Even if it s just another DoT to manage. And they won’t give us that either, so. We’ve tried. Even quitting en masse I don’t think will work a la some of the other jobs—because the ones that don’t want to do anything as a healer but stand around, emote, and toss out the occasional Cure will still be around. And that’s the people the devs are catering towards.

I’m too defeated at this point. They insist on making everything simple, but don’t give us combat-related complexity to make up for the fact that they’re simplifying job gameplay. Unfortunately, the other jobs I’ve loved I have already abandoned because they made them easier to cater to lower skilled players. As depressing as it sounds, healers are what’s left to me now.

but we haven't tried asking to sort-of-speak burning the house down so no one will be able to continue pretending it has any foundation! commit to oversimp!
though this somehow feels like a natural next step in the healer gameplay direction they've taken, so i think this is happening in 7.0 whether we ask/like it or not ^^
