It depends what the time between summons is being used for. The new trance abilities where we do attacks based on the summon’s elements fit perfectly for the job. Dots however were a snoozefest and were sorely out of place. A summoner’s main damage should come from summon magic (or the trance abilities linked to them).
There is little to engage with in this post but it has already been stated that as long as the rework goes well from a damage balance perspective, that summoner will proceed to lose its raise spell in 7.0. So we can focus on actually summoning instead! What a concept.
