Honestly, I'd say it's totally viable in endgame. They said we're going to want a pure healer and barrier healer for endgame content, but the ONLY thing of importance regarding this is that barrier healers can apply AoE barriers for prog. There's no reason to take a pure healer based on this idea that the pure healer role has some kind of inherent advantage the barrier healer doesn't, so there's nothing wrong with a 2 barrier healer comp.Quote:

Oh look, every healers level 90 skill is nice in a way, but SCHs is a meme. Also why is SCH the only healer without a new attack of some kind. In ShB WHM got the Blood Lily, and now AST is getting a new attack/heal 90 skill and the initial Lord of Crowns returned. I just feel sad after having all of this confirmed, T.T

I believe the single target buff that they meant was all the level 88 skills that we get. The pure healers getting damage reduction with minor deviations and then the barrier healers getting healing increase for their spells with little differences as well. Only astro got anything in threat regard with astrodyne but that is locked behind rng.
