I believe they're the scorpion magitek units in z3, up where FAF and SoF spawn. SoF was the one I barely ever saw and the only way outside of duels to get Saurt's note, so I was there for a few days just mass murdering those trying to get it to pop.

Drop rate is indeed pretty terrible at times. I basically managed every single note except Saurt's, even some of the ones more people seemed to have trouble getting (like Dabog), and god. I adore my bike, but I am never grinding it on anyone else ever again. I like what little sanity I have left, thank you very much.

The last one I'm missing is the Steal and Flames. The last few times I had a chance to camp it, the FATE chain never even spawned. CLL spawned and finished twice in that time frame.

At this point, I'd like the option to just buy the last notes for 999 platinum or something stupid. At least I'd have a way to 'earn' it instead of having to waste my precious in game time killing hundreds of scorpions for hours and praying.

I like the idea of the duel fates, but i wish they were implemented differently
Kinda like wow's mage tower system in legion, just let us queue for it in a solo scenario when the fate is active for say, an hour? and you can attempt as many times as you want
I find them fun but having to wait hours upon hours just for a chance at trying again is not very engaging

Meh, just throw them in the cash shop.

By some miracle I got the Dabog note tonight, but the one from "Of Steel & Flames" really doesn't spawn enough and I'm back onto the wheel of insanity except longer. ._.

God help my soul, not sure if the bike is worth it anymore.

It's pretty RNG and funny thing is, I'm already used to it. Luckily I got them all by just the Skirmishes, had to camp and re-enter for alot of time.

All of Bozja note farming is a literal mind-shattering experience thus far.
It took me a month of farming Sartauvoir's notes despite doing the Absent Friends Fate chain multiple times a day for a month.
I got lucky with Murder Death Kill but it was the only one. I spent days getting Dabog II, and I am now 0/75 on Lyon II notes from Dalriada.
Yes I know you can cheese duels n stuff, but first they have to pop, I have to not have my kid pestering me, then I have to get lucky against 2-5 other people trying to also get the duel, I also have to have very specific actions to which I frustratingly do not posess.
I do dalriada 1-3 times a day (took some breaks for a few days here and there to save my sanity) but Ive been no kidding working on just lyon II note for an entire MONTH or more now!
I just need Lyon for gods sake and It never drops. Its also insanely disheartening to see others get it, or folks in my FC get it, but for me. its never.
This 1 note has nearly broken me on multiple occasions . Hence my need for several day breaks.

Human beings can stand incredible duress and weather incredible tedium IF there is a visible end in sight. That end may be months off, but as long as it's there people will be able to endure MUCH better than "well.. maybe this month, maybe next year".

Adding progression, even exceedingly slow progression with a visible end in sight is a good idea. We do it with mounts and other items.. why can't we do it with the notes.. which are in themselves progression toward just one mount.

Because there's already a way to obtain them with a 100% probability, at least for the notes that also drop from duels. Extreme mounts are a much more frustrating experience.

We're going insane, please check the drop-rate if it is even correct. Its really weird how the Dalriada Notes despite the grind its more easier to get those than the Fate-duel related ones.

I got my notes complete without doing any duels. Just takes time and patience as well as persistence. Dalraida notes took longer than the fates for me mostly.
