I'm sorry, I've read a few of the posts by this individual, but does this particular segment stick out to anyone else? When you say 100% you don't take damage, are you referring to the actual damage mitigated, or is it a generic, nebulous way of saying, "I am very tanky."? I sure hope it isn't the former, because that would make no sense at all. Like, 30% + 20% + 10% + 10% does not equal 70% total damage mitigated, mitigation isn't additive in this game. Even more so if you really meant 100%, Tank LB3 is "only" 80% in comparison. You could have like unreal levels of mitigation on the entire party every 2 minutes if you stacked enough percentage, that's seems...unbalanced?????

No, you read it correct. They did just effectively admit they have zero knowledge on how stacking mitigation buffs work. As FoxCh40s said though, you should just ignore it or enjoy it for the amusing read and move on.

The only thing I'm hyped about with the WHM is the relics armour level 90.

In heal, I play mainly WHM so far.

Speaking of tanks, how about those new Dragoon abilities ...

At this point I'm just happy if healers heal at all. I'll be hyped about healers when I stop dying on stupid shit and the party is sitting at 10% while they're casting glare.

If your a tank player you should love idea of white mage having holy 2 - everytime they cast it thats free lily. this means more miseries that mean all the trash your gonna pull is about lose 15-25% of there life. while healing you known stop with afflatus skills.

tanking is gonna be faster then ever now. cause of that

You know, unless they nerf Misery, which they will likely do to account for the extra speed of Lily gain, effectively nullifying what should be an exciting thing. Which they're totally gonna do, mark my words. It's always one step forward, 6 steps back with healers.

Considering that you have not even touched WHM, let alone have an 80 - perhaps you should try playing the jobs a bit more and get a better feel before making baseless suggestions or ideas that don't fit within the scope of the game. Just saying so you aren't completely discredited on the forums more than you have been in multiple threads.
