I'm a casual and I have a house. :P

Impressive then, but casual as your term is likely is not same as mine. Casual is not a time played but a mindset. Casuals believe in log in bonuses and getting stuff for doing no work. Even if you play 1 hour a day, but work towards a goal your not a casual.

If you got a house. You may have gotten extremely lucky, or camped for 72 hours. In any case that is not casual or not a regular occurrence for most players

You’ll soon learn that the Venn diagram of communities here have a lot of overlap. Housing is meant for anyone, this is the wrong game to be asking for gates to casual content.

I thought it was already PvP player content. Who can destroy their bodies the most by registering the most clicks on one object.

No, I WANT them to try and do something like this. Then, once this idea backfires (because barely anyone pvps in this game) and it blows up on twitter, reddit and JP/EP forums and everyone is screeching at Yoshi from all angles, they'll have no choice but to focus on housing more. Genius! :D

Removes rng, in favour for skill. This game has little reason to pvp, this fixes that issue. Fixes pvp and the house market. Your welcome

I can just buy the rank and then buy the house.

People already do that with feast season rewards...

Sure you can buy rank, maybe to a latter. But can you buy your way to top 10? Top 50? Top 100? Not likely. Since each house in my system is tied to a spot in the latter. If you loose you spot in latter, your evicted and keep your stuff. If you choose to hide from pvp within the lock out timer (40 days] you get evicted.

Ff14 has 3 million players, even if everyone is to get boosted you still won’t get high enough to where boost will matter. If anything it may delete the gold inflation by having ranked matches cost like 50K Gil per entry.
