I don't have a link, but remember Yoshi going in depth during an interview on how BLU came to be. He mentioned how the job went through different drafts and versions, but ultimately these were scrapped in favor of a different route.

It's possible some of these were absorbed into current BLU. I doubt any of the earlier drafts resulted in much, but who knows.

I actually really like the idea. It's quirky and fun. But I think it's possible to add BLU into the mix since they're both limited jobs.

Since you're unlikely to find people open to the idea, I'll go along with your concept.

If this was made a non-limited job how would it work. i mean it is a pet job pet is more powerful the chocobo. what would it be melee dps or ranged dps or even a tank

no beastmaster isn't a caster dps or healer i cant see it that way don't know why ppl hate blue I love it . little solo bosses better then max level white mage

After seeing blue mage I’m really not into limted jobs I’d prefer literally any other content

Personally, while I found BLU to be fun sometimes. I don't want another limited job. I want to play whatever I want, whenever I want, however, I want while also being a relevant job and not a minigame.

Well... forum moderators were banning those who shared the links. SE didnt want players knowing about patch/raid/job/race content being known before it was released. (Also the Leaker wasnt speaking on their behalf, like a live letter would)
So... IDK if its still a banable offense, since we already know about and received BLU, Viera, Hrothgar, GNB, DNC, Omega raid, SB patch MSQ, etc. (it doesnt paint SE in the best light, when you see the business double speak thats used to create pre-emptive counter narratives to public outrage, so it might not be allowed still)

I can say, check MrHappys video that came out before the final tier of Omega. He lightly mentions the leakers info, but doesnt directly link to it. To which, IDK if im allowed to suggest what you're able to do after that, or not.

I recall there being a leak around the time pre 4.4 I think, that seemed like it was too accurate to be entirely coincidental, but still off enough that it seemed to have either outdated information, or indirect information where they had to make some guesses.

It said crystal tower would be a big part of 5.0 opening a portal, which was half right. It said gunblader (tentative name) tank and dancer healer. Blue mage melee support dps.

Called something similar to ronso. Minfilia coming back.

Adam and eve as end boss of Omega.

It could have all been lucky guesses, but a lot of it feels like the leaker had access to prior itterations of stuff that was all changed before the final version, getting too close on multiple areas to be coincidence. IF the leaks were real, that might suggest they had different itterations on many things including blue mage as a full job and dancer as a healer before they settled on the final versions of things.

I would hate it if they made my favorite job of all time a limited one. I don't mind having less beasts to tame as long as I can take them into a dungeon with me and fight.

Would be rather cool if the beastmaster somehow absorbed the aether of the animals -- fighting with them in spirit. I guess something similar to how Reaper is going to be with the voidsent.

I think/hope eventually SE would turn blue mage into a regular job. No idea how they could pull it off though.
