I am aware of this. I'm saying I received a mark within the past 2 weeks for something I haven't done in over a year, so that would imply there's a year backlog in applying penalties.

Word to the wise about the vote kick issue just so not say anything in game then you have plausible deniability. If a GM does come to you just say it was for a difference of play styles. I say this from experience because I have been contacted many times for removing someone. -

As someone who dealt with a stalker and it was so bad had his ls also do it. I understand the pain you are going through, and at the time I also posted about it and it started a flame war with the community. This was during Heavenward, so i thought things have changed since that time.

I have always considered votekick an absolute last resort. People refusing to do mechs and causing the party to wipe multiple times, where their presence is actively preventing the group from clearing. Tanks not using stance and causing repeated wipes, ignoring repeated requests, I'll even warn dps 'hey, gonna hold back this pull, see if they pay attention to chat when they see nobody else joining' because I don't want my party members to die. I make every possible effort to see a group clear before even considering kick, because that is the goal. Adapt to the group's needs, try to get the clear. I'd rather wipe for an hour and teach someone, get the clear, than kick someone. There is something else here, either mass false reports that did not get properly investigated or someone's got a friend.

I doubt the argument here is "take my infraction away." It's more "Why am I getting an infraction for a more minor issue, but there's a player actively harassing (against tos), stalking (against tos), slander (against tos), and these are to the point of death threats, and that didn't appear to get so much as a warning. Assuming they did, the continued behavior would result in a ban, no?
That's the focus, not "I want my infraction removed cuz there's worse people" it's "Why is worse stuff not dealt with? Would it not be fair for both to suffer?"
I had to deal with someone for months who'd publicly harass me and slander me, and even went after my friends and fc members to try and get them to hate me. Square did nothing, during the entire time. It only stopped because eventually the community got annoyed with them telling everyone how horrible of a person i am for breathing for months on end in shout chat. According to my multitude of tickets of response, and lack of result from them, to the point where Square was auto closing my own tickets over the subject because they didn't wanna talk about it anymore, they do not see any issue with it.
Despite that, I have a three day because I got angry at a leech, who jumped off the platform in a trial and stayed dead, and ended up swearing at him. I swore, so I got slapped, that was the specific section they mentioned. Wasn't hard to figure out which situation on my end (which should be a good thing, no? Means I'm not constantly doing that kind of thing), but I ended up getting confused. If I swear at someone and that's a 3 day, why is what happened to me perfectly fine?
The point is, it's not. Nobody should have to deal with these threats, empty or no. -

This was on 7/10/2021. I have not votekicked in over a year, or witnessed one in half a year. What conclusion can I possibly draw from that? What could I possibly hide that would make sense here? The only things I leave out are 'here are chat logs of dozens upon dozens of incidents.
