It's a sex thing. The human races all fancy each other, none of them are quite that into the beastmen though.
That's my theory anyway.

Kinda funny really because..if they were real we Humans would say "nah, you're not".
Off topic note, I usually think this song as the theme for the Roe race for some reason.

"Humans" (playable races) are distinctly different from the beastmen. The Dragons, Omega, and the Ancients explicitly distinguish humans from non-human races. So far there is no evidence that human souls can reincarnate as anything other than another human.
Not really. If anything, terms like Humans or man, and beastmen are simply just social constructs made by the former or the Spoken if you will which doesn't matter for the Ancients at all. In fact, the Ascians see all of us as poor imitations of life regardless.

If by "human" you mean as in Humanoid or Human in appearance then yeah..but still, the Hrothgar are the most Beast like among the Spoken. These terms don't seem to exist in the Far East as far as I know. Hell, the Lalafells are called as Dwarves in the First, and they're considered as a Beastmen tribe there, rofl.
So the differentiation of the terms "human" and "beastman" are racist terms prescribed by the lore to create conflict that helps the real villains.
Those terms have already been rendered meaningless by story because the story has gone on to prove time and time again, that there is no difference between "human" and "beastman".
Those in this thread that continue to define the differentiation of those terms in the context of their social construct is continuing to perpetuate their racial connotations instead of learning what the story is trying to teach you.
Stop being racist.
