No! This means as players we should look past all of our preconceived notions of each other and new communities to react accordingly only when we perceive a clear issue we hope may never come up.

we might have a differing opinion here.... but I did not think we were dying prior to these people trying the game... at all. FFXIV was not on life support nor was the dev team trying to kill the game off.

assuming the GM's continue to do their jobs, I dont expects people doing toxic things to stay a part of the community for long if they are reported as they should be.

however, I am really not sure why you are saying we should not be considerate to others. is that just poorly written or is that really the point of the post or how you feel?

I am sure that so many, judging by the fan postings in the forums, think the streamers have "saved" FFXIV, this is not the case. we were fine before, we will still be fine as long as the devs keep doing what they are doing. there have always been a decent amount of sprouts breathing life into the game, so, relax, we arent exactly wasting away...

Well, technically it is, all things including ourselves are slowly dying :P

Game has been growing. Cities are always full. This happened well before a certain streamer hit the scene.

MSQ roulette is the only thing worse than Expert Brainless-hallway-simulator Roulette right now due the random toxicity and freeloaders making an already tedious duty drag longer. So I certainly do not.
Well I guess Mentor beats them both but still.

How Kes13a did you interpret that as me saying we should not be considerate of others when this sentence which is correctly framed means the opposite of your implication? Truly amazing.

The servers are not ready and it shows. But well. Hopefully they are ready for Endwalker lunch.

Well… there the same servers that soldiered through the ShB launch so there no pushovers. The challenge is what tthey want to do in the expansion would probably push the existing infrastructure too much. As it is now, the servers are doing a great job with player activity that is nearly the same as the ShB launch weekend.

Any other game that took in several hundred thousand new players would probably have melted down in flames.

Kudos to the server teams!

The game is stagnating somewhat, and that seriously hurts its future.
