Controversial take: Remove Gunnhildr's Blade titles from everyone and fix the exploit

What "exploit" is this? Are you sure it is one?

Ungarmax obviously was, because that was never intended to be usable outside of squadrons. Are you saying they're gonna be handing out bans over this too?

It's not really an exploit, carrying over timed buffs from instance to instance (and not even that, in this case!) has been a pretty consistent mechanic throughout this game.

There's a difference between an exploit and a stupid mechanic.

Carrying over buffs from instance to instance has gotten people banned before (there was an exploit where you get vulnerability down in Sohm Al and you can use it to cheese the Ultimates). I don't see why having the buffs be timed suddenly makes all the difference.

I have Sword of the South before the notoriety buff anyways and I don't care about getting Gunnhildr's Blade after seeing the meta being just exploit duels.

Because there's no reason to fix it? Usually all it means is a Samurai entering a raid with the Jinpu buff active that normally runs out before the pull happens.

And in this particular case... it has greatly decreased the difficulty of the duel with the same exploit that people used to basically be invincible in Ultimates, which got people banned.

They have closed those when found, in-fact when they finally added the cooldown wipe on reset they explicitly mentioned anyone finding a way to abuse that would be met with penalties.

I think it would be better to just add an even more prestigious title that's obtained from clearing the duels on all three roles.

They should also just simply require that a Lost Action actually be active on your bar in order for you to benefit from its buffs in the case of strong personal buffs like the banners and fonts, too.

Flare Star in a void or even buffed by stuff like the Ordained + Chainspell isn't broken. It's when it's combined with literally every buff Bozja has to offer that it reaches truly absurd levels and starts ticking for 500K+ damage.

You're taking duels far too seriously. They're challenging 1v1, sure, but also slapped right in the middle of content that intentionally received over 100 ridiculously strong Actions and Essences on top of a Medal system for permanent player buffs. It's hardly surprising players eventually figured out the best way to melt them down.

If you care about challenge, request some ilv synched solo challenges that only use the players normal toolkit. Something like Endless Proving Ground or the Mage Tower from WoW. Bozja was never designed to be balanced.

Stupid broken melty melty dps is the most fun part of Bozja though
