No Tataru Outfit This Expansion?

Don't we usually get new Tataru clothes at the beginning of each new expansion more or less?

The last couple it has been at the end, but maybe the Crystarium set we got while questing through Shadowbringers counted or something. Who knows.

Getting the Crystarium set during the expansion was like getting the Garlean Doma #55 set during Stormblood. The "Scion X's Sets" were handed out during the final story quests of the expansions in the .56 patches.

Also, do we know when and what the 5.56 patch will be? During the fanfest they showed a timeline for all the releases and they had 5.55, 5.57, 5.58, The Rising, return of FFXV event, and the expansion launch all on the calendar but 5.56 was strangely absent.

That is an odd detail for them (SE) to leave out. You might be on to something here.

I'm still holding on to hope that they will give us that during the start of EW. Or maybe in patch 5.56.

it would have been cool if the set wad the hooded cloak in EW trailer
bit upsetting if we don't get a set for ShB

i dont see a reason why we should have expected an outfit. yeah they were nice and it would have been nice if we've gotten one. but still its not a reason to expect one.

The game tends to follow fairly defined patterns of content and you can guess what comes next based on what they did last time.

If we've gotten the same thing (an outfit) at the same point (final MSQ before next expansion) in the two prior expansions, it's fair enough to interpret that as a pattern and anticipate a third.

No she still managed to sew... she made new outfits for Uriangier, Y'Shtola, and Thancred. Guess we players gotta do the same facetable that Alisaie did when neither she nor we get new outfits.

From my memory we got several sets of glamour this expansion... sure, not one from Tataru, but it feels like we got a lot this expansion (crystalarium guard set, and the Nier set in the raid, a bunch from Ishgard restoration, probably others)

I mean, it’s fair to think there might be one and be disappointed there isn’t, but nothing to be angry or blame devs over.
