It mostly just leaves it vague, like most things they can't give a clear answer on. I doubt we'll be kept waiting as long as 7.0, but I also doubt we'll see them in 6.1 or 6.2 - I'm guessing .3 at the earliest, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Yeah I have the same hunch, otherwise I dont mind waiting. :) The game is very good they can take their time and waiting will be worth it

I dont think the "not anytime soon part" is a thing. He just said they are coming later.

Since Yoshi is literally the god of xiv, who holds I believe an executive position in SE, him saying "they are coming eventually" IS an official statement, clear cut facts. Now if he said "we will try to make them but no guarantees" THAT is vague and open ended...
