In all seriousness, I know it sucks. It's happened to me tons, because I've made many of my own attempts to floor 200.

I don't believe it will ever be changed though.

they can do it for trusts. At the very least, they could snapshot pomanders and timer at the start of each floor and on relogging, generate the level again. Or do it like dark souls where the layout is saved, but the mobs are reset

No. Necromancer is supposed to be hard, and the time limit reflects that.

While we are talking about things needed for POTD / HoH my biggest wish list item is more save files. I have a lot of friends that play at different days/times and it sucks having to tell some of them we can’t go because I have 2 files started with other people still.

They're doing this because you could easily abuse it. Alot of times you have to make a decision in the moment cuz you hit a luring trap for example. Then you have to decide what you're going to do in a split second. If you'd be able to pull your internet plug and not loose, you could just think about it while not being in there. Make a plan how you solve this etc.. That's why it's allowed in Trust, cuz no one cares about that. You can't get something prestigious in there. Potd clears, especially solo are meant to be super special. And they'll throw everything in your way to make it feel that way.

If we have the deal with the design that is not really solo friendly (especially PotD), at least, I wish we had more saving slots.
