Random BSOD crashes in FF14

yeah, BSOD crashes occuring frequently typically point to either a hardware or system error.

Might need to get your hardware checked out.

Well, as i reinstalled on my SSD which seemed to be working fine, i thought ok it must be the Windows update that's causing the issue, so i reinstalled on my NVME drive with no windows updates (WD black) an lo and behold it crashes again.

So back to my trusty old crucial SSD which seems to be working although i haven't tried to do much in FF14 as im supposed to be working, i do think though that the windows updates break it, but i also think that my NVME drive may be a bit broke, or maybe its a combination of both, ive run hdd tests on the drive they say its fine, ill keep you posted.

when my M2 was failing all the tests were passing as well which is why it took so long for me to replace it, but after replacing ram and 2 reinstalls of windows it was either my SSD or motherboard at that point so i chose M2 and never had any issues since.

Yeah - a while back I was experiencing some massive lag issues, graphics issues, internet issues (slow loading times, etc etc) and it all culminated in one day experiencing BSOD OVER and OVER again to the point where even when I was trying to reinstall windows, BSOD.

The BSODs began occuring when I was playing XIV so I'd assumed it had something to do with XIV - defragged my HDD, ran test after test, everything seemed fine.

Ended up buying a new HDD (I didn't have enough for an SSD and didn't want to skimp on space because I do a lot of gaming and video editing and art, and I only had $100 to spare)

All my problems went away the moment I switched out drives.

Hi all,

For anyone having the same sort of issues, seems to be fine now, updated BIOS re-installed Windows and FF14 on a different SSD not my NVME drive, which i've sent for RMA, still haven't done any Windows updates, so still not 100 percent sure if it was those Windows updates or my drive, i'm thinking more the drive now.
