Thats actually true and that would be the biggest disadvantage....
I am excited because I feel like 2.0 will have more than the content of 1.18 - 1.23 combined... and that, kind sir... Is AWESOME

I think though if all the content was released simultaneously, I would have liked for the following to have been adjusted:
*Speed run does not determine loot from dungeons.
*Primal weapons have the same drop rate, dropping to loot list.
*Primal totems drop 100%, quantity 1, for all participants, these totems go immediately into inventory, cannot be traded... almost as if a currency.
*Cutscenes do not affect dungeon timer and require all party members to skip before moving onward.
*Equalize the loot incentives.
And so when strongholds, Cutter's Cry, Aurum Vale, Denzel Hold, Ifrit, Moogle, Garuda opened up it would be...
Well... I guess there's 2.0 for that. Hoping the mechanics and the community perspective on the whole becomes more tolerant and mutually respectful on the whole.
Cheers to the moon catastrophe!
I wouldnt still be playing this game if that was the case.
Nope... I've always been of the opinion that content should come later than the general fixes, and even now I'm of the opinion that the servers should've been shut down should it have hindered their redevelopment progress.
Yes it would have been bad. Having a huge content patch is only good when there is already something to keep up interested, until the content patch(content, leveling, exploring, and/or etc).
Just revamping and telling us "please understand' would have helped spread the flames on this once flaming garbage dump.
In my opinion Yoshi-P couldn't have done things any better, given the circumstances.
