I dont trust sites that say Wildstar has a 13k player base with no servers.
Well that is how complicated internet scouring algorithms work, I havent worked on them specifically but my best guess is they are searching the internet for mentions, numbers, discussion places, including articles that could generate some talk and to this day you ll always see the occasional mention of the game so it isnt weird that a dead game would have some small random number.
The game might have died but some people might still talk about it, though often bringing it up as an example of what happens when you focus on high end or just an article talking about how it failed, cant really know the exact numbers so this is the 2nd best way to get an idea of an MMO and the overall sentiment which again is found through tracking keywords I would guess.
Every location, duty, pf, linkshells, and fc have more people. To the point where the last time it had this much was back in Shb release. I'm not the only one who acknowledges this, others here have implicit or explicitly said yes to the spike in activity. You can disagree but disagree doesn't disprove it until data comes out either from SE or Luckybrancho (unofficial).
I don't know. Launch was clogged. If we're taking anecdotal information: Seen less and less participation on DF, hunts, maps, fates, and the Limsa afk party every patch.
Such is the truth of MMO populations.
Ah, I see.
Without a tone of voice I didn't know if you meant that literally or not.
By... your use of the word "believe?"
Considering in your other posts you were making firm assertions I was led to believe there was something firm behind them. But if this is a thread about beliefs, I believe I will wait for the data.
