But lets be fair, they compress all that information, get it translated, so theres maybe larger footnote of "Hey there are pretty pesky rmt bots sending /tells 24/7 over here..." or smt lieke that...

On the other hand, i really wished yoshi or someone who at least speaks a bit more english would tour more often on NA/EU...

Even back in DAoC, the Team Leads for classes could have a free account so long as they were Team Leads, and that was a strictly voluntary position (I used to be a Hunter TL there). They finally did away with that system, but it was the best way to connect the player base to the development team in terms of wants/needs/desires and report back why something was or was not implemented.

Funny that employees for SE don't get a free account, but that could also be because of the JP work ethic.

That's actually common in business. In some countries, the market value of the game subscription (or whatever product/service the company provides if they were to give it to their employees free) would have to be reported as taxable income and sometimes could fall into category of bonus wages that are taxed at a higher rate. Both the company (less ""paperwork")and the employee (a few dollars saved on income taxes) stand to benefit if the employee just pays for it on their own.

People love to see their employers as stingy but a lot of times it's laws that are at fault.
