Gambler could be a Job that gains it’s exp most efficiently by playing in the Gold Saucer. I personally do not ever visit the GS unless it’s business- there is very little incentive for me to do so.
However, if there were a job that could gain its exp or other perks by playing in the GS, that changes everything. And then I could take that job and play normal dungeons in a fun and engaging way, I would see that as a win, and the perfect example of what a limited, or untraditional job could be.
In comparison to BLU, a Gambler is less limited by a volatile spell list. They can make a static kit for it like all other jobs. Some other concerns are the RNG nature of such a job, but a diverse pool of abilities and the law of averages on say a dice roll should iron out its DPS potential.
