That design is pretty tacky...

the gold buttons are just bad taste. That metallic like red as well. And don't get me started with the red controller.

The dalamud design looks cool though. I'd go with black and white. and ease down on the color variations a lot.

Why are people attacking the design of a fan made picture?

On topic, I'd love SE to release a PS3 collector's edition, or even a PS3 version at all! I know plenty of people who would give FF14 a chance on the PS3, but I'm afraid that any console release at all looks bleak. I hope that once 2.0 comes out we will be closer to a definitive answer on a console release.

actually I started making my own version but then thought to myself "seriously? I'm going this far just for a random thread in a forum?" and closed photoshop.

Its funny how having a negative opinion on XIV's forums = QQing.

I did say the dalamud design was nice though. Anyway, if having an opinion about the design without showing a picture annoyes too many people I GUESS I could cook something up in a while

image is an example to motivate, I do not like control, and I did in photoshop XD
I want a control that is of a white metal and silver
but the main idea is to have a special edition console, whit totem and game >:3 and... poster 1.5mx.5m *-* and... new art book... Big...*¬* and... pvc figure imperial *Q* LOL

LOL black and white is so boring, I think the only gloss/metallic bit is the disk tray also.
