You would still be spamming Pom Cure. Gobskin is way too weak to be worth. Strotam basically fills the same usage niche of white wind.

Again, blue mage healers need actual ogcd healing and spells that interact with each other. Or at least more durable tanks so you won’t have to spend every single gcd on pom cures.

Not really. White Wind is not meant to be cast regularly. It functions better as a tank/dps self-heal used only on occasion when near 50% hp. Strotam works much better as a regularly cast AoE heal.

I'd argue the reverse. Blue Mage demonstrates that the problem with the healers is actually having to many ogcds.

While too many oGCDs would be awful, BLU deserves at least one. I wonder what would be to ramifications of Angel Snack (and by extension, Dragon Force and Matra Magic) being oGCDs

I have taken White Wind out of my DPS rotations and just put my trust in the healer. There’s nothing more obnoxious from a healers perspective to try to top the party off only for the DPS or Tank for that matter to throw in their completely unnecessary White Wind.

My eyes are 100% still looking at Angel Whisper and Transfusion when it comes to perfecting the Healer BLU. Both of the spells are outrageously painful to play around when they should actually be working in tandem. Angel Whisper needs to be adjusted to be a normal not-300-effing-second-cooldown when you are a Healer. How is it that a bunch of spells got role adjustments and AW didn’t. And if not, then Angel Whisper should be self targetable for the effect of Reraise, in so that Transfusion can be properly used as your Benediction spell.
