The scene after completing Amaurot where the WoL ends up speaking with a voice... not theirs... very much springs to mind (spoilered for those not up to ShB yet):

WoL (speaking with Ardbert's voice): "This world, is not yours to end... This is our future! Our story!"
(Emet sees the WoL replaced with an Ancient, and reacts with horrified realization)
Emet: "No.. it can't be!"

Lightening up the mood a little (pun intended), I laughed at the top dialogue option when Grenoldt was met for the first time during ShB:

"Has it really come to this?"

I admit I just lost it when I saw that, especially seeing my character's hilarious mock-surrender gesture. :P

(For those who don't get the joke, Grenoldt resembles a certain drunken weaponsmith in Hyrstmill on the Source you get your relic from, even down to having a similar name. ;)).

I recently found out that line actually changes depending on whether or not you've had any interaction with said blacksmith pre-5.0. Which... makes sense, but I honestly never thought about it with the negative condition.

I forgot the two quotes I practically have in my own signature. Lol. I added this to my original post, alongside one of what I consider tearjerker.
