Retainer quick venture rewards, plz fix?

One of mine likes to bring me Neo Ishgardian gear. Which, at least, still sells for a decent amount.

The other brings me random pastel dyes most of the time.

Better than junk fish, at least.

The worst part of this for me is the dyes. I get very few venture coffers and when I do it's been the same metallic blue dye 75% of the time, and I have yet to get a single black or white dye.

Black and white dye shouldn't be so damn hard to come by, but SE has to get a constant flow from the cash shop I guess....

I still remember the day my retainer brought me a genji naginata when I wasn't even level 70 dragoon, that was a huge shock

since the changes this patch I seem to be getting nothing but single crystals or single crafting materials with one crystarium item which was useful

I agree about the metallic dyes. why no black/white or some of the fancy ishgard ones

AGREED

those venture coffers arent too clear, i actually deleted about three of them before i realized they held dyes. In addition to this they literally are always metallic yellows, blues, or lame thing like that, not once have i see a black or white. I get they need cashshop money but i'm not payin real cash for a 1 time use item like that. NOPE.

The whole system with retainer missions needs to be looked at. There's no reason to keep equipping your retainer if all they do is bring the same things to us. The point of gear was for them to have higher % success on rare items. I think someone forgot that part of the code.

I think by "higher % success" they mean maybe 1-2%. lol

"Higher percent chance" appears to mean "You know that crafting material for level 60 4-star items that goes for like 7gil on the marketboard, that your retainer brings back every single time? Now you get two of them. AND they're HQ."

I'd like a crystal at this point. I've nothing but mansion roofs.
