I think somewhere they said you can use them for more than one role. Not that they can all be used at once, but that you had a choice. So if you wanted to fill in a specific roll like a support or DD, the chocobo can fill in the last spot.

i loved chocobo's dungeon for the wii. so much fun. and the end song was beautiful as well, very mellow sounding. I actually enjoyed playing the credits minigame in it just so i could listen to it more. :D
