Expand Explorer Mode to PvP

I would think this is an easy one to do, compared to the dungeons. It would be fun to have this option.

That sounds great! I always wanted to take screenshots in the shatter map, because I love the snowy landscape.

Bumping because that's the forum meta, and also because it's still relevant. Also updated the initial description.

We need explorer mode for PvP zones and/or unrestricted customs (less than 10 people) for Crystalline Conflict.

Teams need it for map walkthroughs and position planning

Communities/FCs need it for events.

Shoutcasters need it for camerawork practice.

Gposers probably want it for their pictures.


Every single time Yoshi-P showcases something new in PvP, he's always alone in the zone. We know they have the ability, and it's absolutely insane that we haven't had this freedom ever.

I noted in another thread the new map would really benefit from this to allow everyone to get a feel for the details.

Absolutely. The only counter-argument to ANY of this I can see is server instance space, but SE threw that argument away the moment explorer mode and unrestricted parties for all other duties came into the picture.

Plus player numbers decreased so now there's definitely not a spacial issue... : )
