Is the price of the Twins’ fashion incorrect in the Mogstation?

Why is it ONE piece? That is so irritating.

Its probably not an error. Its just SE knowing that people will buy them anyways, so why should they lower the prices. (Not that I agree with that of course)

Eh even on sale I wouldn't buy it. Can't dye it (naturally) and it's a one piece glam so rip to customization.

I think all the ARR NPC outfits are 1 piece glams if released. Their custom HW updates will probably be multiple pieces - similar to Y'shtola and Lyse

I haven't seen anybody with it, either.

I'm not surprised, though. It's very niche fashion, it can't be dyed and individual pieces can't be combined with other items since it's a 'one piece' set.

I also noticed that the price seems wrong for their usual pricing scheme. Hopefully it's just a mistake and not trying to creep the prices up.

It's from an older era of the game and it seems like they didn't consider the need for it to be broken up into equippable pieces when it was a unique NPC costume. There isn't a clear divide between pants and boots, and the gloves might not be a standard length for interacting with sleeves.

Minfilia, Cid and Yda's outfits are similarly one piece - I think they all have some element that doesn't play nicely with divided equipment.

Two outfits posted to Eorzea Collection currently, both coordinating with hats.

(Vs one glamour using Minfilia's outfit, two using Cid's, none using Yda's.)

It was a custom NPC outfit created for 2.0. Both Antecedent's Attire (Minfilla's 2.0 outfit) and Head Engineer's Attire (Cid's outfit) were similar one piece custom outfits. So it is a result of time of creation.

I stupidly bought it thinking that the pieces would be able to be seperated. I wanted to create a nice glam with only the top. When it came in the mail and I realized it was a one piece I was livid. I will never wear it. A complete waste of money.

There's a few functional differences I can see compared to other comparable sets:

- it can have the FC seal applied.
- it has higher stats than glamour sets usually have. It's roughly equivalent to the standard racial starting gear that would be equipped in the spots it covers.
- can be worn by both genders so no worries that you'll lose access to it when using fantasia

You should ALWAYS check what items are included in the purchase, each mogstation page shows the separate pieces if there are any.


I almost made the same mistake before.
