How am I supposed to turn in my relic weapon quest?

I can only assume it's some hardcoded technical issue because it is really silly that you have to both be the class you are turning in for but also not wearing the weapon, meaning you have to have another one on you to do it.

Well RIP. I haven’t done the new steps yet, so I feel like Booboo the Fool.

Mostly because I forgot they even added new steps. This explains the nagging feeling I’ve had for the last few days like I was forgetting something important.
