While we know cross race are extremely rare they can still happen so be interested what that combo be like :p

My biggest question is, would the merger of worlds to the source ever happen naturally? It's not out of the realm of possibility. So over the millennia are the worlds just going to merge themselves back together due to natural disasters or just due to mans own love of war, and when they do, would this bring back the ascians?

Also how many more worlds is it going to take before we become so put back together, so to speak, that someone's memory of what once was becomes strong enough to reawaken the realization and abilities of what we once were. And what will those people do with that information.

Consider ghosts, which are an actual enemy in the game. From what we know of the Lifestream, they shouldn't exist - when things die, their souls return to the Lifestream, are broken up, and return as new souls for newly born creatures. I'm pretty sure the game, quests, and lorebooks give various explanations for undead and ghosts though. They're either souls which were prevented from traveling to the Lifestream, residual aetherial echos, manifestations of dark magic, or simply Voidsent. I mean if you think about it the Ascians themselves are just very advanced disembodied spirits.

So, yes, they DO explain how ghosts exist, so I don't see why the Auspices get a pass. Most things in the lore have SOME sort of mechanical explanation, even if it's convoluted like some Primals or the Lucavi.

My assumption on the Auspices is that they're basically what natural primals would be. Creatures that have become godlike in power due to an abundance of aether gained over time, but can fall into destructive tendencies if not purified every so hundred years. In fact, it's possible quite a few of the Primals we've fought so far that are based on legends may have been auspices themselves. Think about it, a flaming lizard, a flying whale, a giant sea serpent...
