Why is there no event for Columbus day?

I just report and move on.

Today I learned two things.
That it was Columbus Day (seriously, outside of New York basically no Americans even give a shit about it).
And that this guy STILL hasn't gotten forum-banned, somehow.

My only interest in Columbus Day is that my job was closed for the day. Didn't get holiday pay for it, but the shop was closed, so I lose a day's pay for a long-dead loony.
