Bozja Critique: Almost there, but not quite

Not story, not new content with new skills, not cooperation with players. Yes, only relic.
Tldr - want only relic - go outside. You can farm relic as extra feature in Bozja

Reading comprehension is hard for you apparently. I'm pointing out that the game systems don't give near the same reward for the time invested. At all.

Not really. Bozja front main point is to prepare yourself for future BA + the exclusive rewards of that area.

They are a 100% drop in critical engagements, once you unlock the quest, or at least it seems, I have never not gotten one from a CE. You need 20 from each of the 3 "zones" in bozja and in 2 hours I was able to get 10 while I got rank. Outside of that I see the rest as farming for other items like mounts, minions and the the other various glam items.

If you are really impatient and have no other need for the other items, feel free to farm the HW zones, that is why they added that option. The fact that it hasn't even been 24 hours since release and ppl are complaining here and in shouts in Gangos about how its taking too long to get the new relic is kinda sad and speaks volumes for the way this game hands out prizes.

I don't really think at least some of the issue is the content...

It's almost like players just want a reason to bitch.

The fact that we don't have to grind in Bozja for the relic is amazing. I'm still doing it for the story but I'd rather just farm regular fates with my chocobo and a flying mount.

Normal mobs actually have a great drop rate for all types of crystal, including the ones needed for the relic weapon.
They're actually better time-wise than the FATEs because you only get one drop for the entire FATE instead of one for each FATE mob.

So when you complain that "there's no reason to kill mormal mobs" in one sentence, then "Bozja drop rate for memory crystals sucks"... well...

Eureka was awkward but at least the areas were kinda pretty. Now with Bozja the encounters are somehow better (even though there were some cool fights in hydatos and pyros) but the area is really ugly compared to eureka (it may even be the ugliest area in the whole game), and all the systems that made Eureka special aren't in Bozja. I mean I don't even know why we have resistance ranks as monster in the level 8+ area of Bozja are level III or IV.

From what I have seen around the complaint isn't so much that you can get the relic outside of the zone, but that it is so much easier and efficient to get it outside of the zone.

It is too easy outside of Bozja to be honest. It took me under 3 hours to farm the 60 Memories and spam 6 dungeons. Relic done day one. Bozja itself seems fine on relic droprate. This is content that's meant to keep us occupied until 5.4 after all.

I'm also unsure why they chose HW FATE's and level 60 dungeons of all things for a lv80 relic. It's more of a free handout path than an alternate grind.

Bozja seems fine and was enjoyable, but the alternate path is just strange. They're so afraid to ask us to do things this expansion.
