Empty maps in 2.0(and new maps in general)

So the lower and mid level ones will be easy to complete but every zone could have that 1 area that is high level and tough to get through...

I'm willing to bet everything I own that ppl will be bitching about it in the first week of release. Sounds fun tho, I haven't got lost in an MMO in YEARS

Yeah I look forward to exploring and revealing my maps. I'm more excited though to *hopefully* run into some big ole epic looking HNM while I do said 'exploring'.

Strangely me too I was always bumping into and getting killed by some random nm in ffxi hah.

Not with the aggro icon >.> you will know if they aggro or not.

But, I'm pretty sure I made a thread on how maps work a while ago and pretty sure people just went BSHAHAFHAAHA.

Though, this is probably most look forward in 2.0, I love running around the world.

Sounds great... except for what happens to those of us who already "Explored" the current Eorzea and unlocked the achievement for nabbing all the Aetheryte Points. Does this mean we have to do that all over again? I'm not looking forward to having to go through that experience again...

speak for yourself. I loved doing node runs with my LS.

Could this also mean that there will be less Aetheryte's? More travel by chocobo is always something I enjoyed, to some it may be a time sink. To me it gave me a rush when I was setting out to do something.

I would have loved it if I had an LS to do runs with, but I had to solo all of mine :(

This map thing sounds fantastic..I'ma have fun getting lost and exploring =D
