My bad for thinking you were looking for help instead of making a pointless sarcastic comment. Hopefully the information will help someone else who's still learning about desynthesis.
As for how they end up desynthing into those items, no MST3K is needed to explain it. Open water is filled with dirt being moved from place to place. It also ends up the world's trash can and the things living in it will sometimes swallow the trash along with the dirt. We break apart the fish and find the remains of what they've swallowed. Even the occasional swimsuit piece can be explained, especially if it's a large carnivorous fish.
Now I think about it, if the increased chance of rare items only applies to Demimateria, that would make leveling desynth a negative, since you'd be getting worthless Battlecraft III more often instead of valuable things like Primal mats or Frosted Glass Lenses.
The increased chance also applies to Sublime Solutions. You get them more often and you're also more likely to get 2 at once if your desynth level is above the item level.
Which makes sense since Sublime Solutions (along with aethersands) are effectively the new demimateria required to craft end game items.
Unfortunately, they're also easy to get without desynthesis. While the freebies are nice, they're not enough to make it worth going out of the way to level desynthesis.
