Yes that's what I meant. But that also comes from me being very over the fake-out deaths. XIV seems very afraid to just let characters die ever since they first brought back Nanamo.

Well here's mine. I wonder if I will be in a minority for not having Y'shtola in the S tier.

All the NPCs are the same to me. nothing but quest givers to make me clean their bathrooms. None of them are good imo.

Despite being a Zenos fan, I agree he should have died. I am willing to give the writers a chance, however, to prove me wrong. This better be good.

Boy, that's an annoyingly placed watermark. Couldn't put it at the bottom over the lower tiers?

Louisoix was only around for Legacy, which I didn't play, so I have no particular feelings about him. I legitimately don't remember who the other two in the bottom tier are.

Louisoix is also in Coils, it's relatively Short how much but he does have greater importance in 1.X

My thought process is as follows:
S: The shining stars of a given expansion.
A: I love these characters with all my little heart.
B: These are good characters, but they're either not as compex as the A characters, or I just never formed as strong an attachment to them.
C: These characters are fine. They did their jobs in their storylines. They're either too flat for my tastes or just never had a very central role (or they're Lyse who, imo, had too central a role).
D: Worst characters, would spit on. Feel bad about the ShB guy because I know he had a lot of potential but as it is I can't even remember his name, I just remember him as the guy that kept making me do unnecessarily long solo fights.
I never did the DRK questline, AKA IDK/Who?: Self-explanatory, had to ask my partner who this guy was, I have no opinion on him.

M'zhet! He was better in the beast tribe stuff than his own side-story tbh.

Never got around to finishing Coils because I'm a lazy bum. One of these days I should just unsynch it and roll through just to see the story.

The other two, yeah, I'd put them at low C/high D at best now that I remember who they are. They didn't annoy me as much as the rest of the D rank, but they didn't really leave any particular impression, and in storytelling, that's worse.

Really, part of what makes M'zhet Tia awesome is his story and look seem to intentionally borrow a lot from Red XIII.
